Manager: Group IT Infrastructure - Support Office - IS & T at The Building Company

Description

1. Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans which align to Business Strategy
2. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures and associated training plans for Group IT and initiatives
3. Be responsible for IT Asset Management, inventory, life cycle management and any related documentation
4. Establish and manage service levels to the business
5. Plan, acquire and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organizations network
6. Conduct research and make recommendations on products or services in the market that will complement our Group IT strategy
7. Negotiate with vendors, outsources and contractors and ensure relevant agreements are in place
8. Manage and ensure effectiveness of the group’s IT infrastructure and (cyber) security to ensure audit compliance
9. To uphold and promote the company values and culture

Requirements

1. Tertiary qualification preferably in the field of computer science or similar
2. 5 years of relevant work/management experience
3. 5 years’ experience managing enterprise-wide LAN’s, WAN’s, WLAN’s, VPN’s and Back Office Infrastructure
