REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Experience

• 7–10 years in information security or IT governance
• With 3+ years in a leadership role
• CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent

Added Advantage

• Healthcare or regulated industry experience
• Postgraduate qualifications

• Understanding of security operations, cloud security and data privacy.

DELIVERABLES

• Lead Information Security: Develop and implement security frameworks, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with POPIA and ISO 27001.
• Drive IT Governance: Establish governance structures, manage IT risk, and support audits and regulatory compliance.
• Protect Data Privacy: Oversee data classification, access control, and privacy initiatives across all systems.
• Promote Awareness: Deliver training and awareness programs to embed a culture of security and compliance.
• Collaborate Strategically: Advise leadership, support secure digital transformation, and align IT with business goals.
• Manage People and Performance: Build a high-performing team, foster development, and ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure Financial and Operational Efficiency: Contribute to budgeting, cost control, and process improvement.
• Report and Govern Effectively: Provide actionable insights, ensure integrated risk management, and maintain compliance.
