Description

The Manager of Business Platforms and Technology will be responsible for overseeing the digital transformation of various business processes within the organization. Key technologies of focus include CRM (Salesforce), iManage, and Power Apps/Power Automate. This role involves building and leading a distributed team to support the wider Technology organization's transition to DevOps and Agile methods.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the adoption of best-in-class digital technologies across multiple business systems, including CRM, Talent, Project Management, Finance, and internally developed tools.
• Serve as a strategic advisor and implementer, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize, staff, and execute initiatives within specified timelines.
• Establish a focus on integration, automation, and continuous improvement, with a hands-on approach to configuring and implementing platforms.
• Recommend, evaluate, plan, and implement enterprise platforms, ensuring software integrations meet functional, compliance, and interface specifications.
• Directly manage an offshore team encompassing system admins, developers, business analysts, system architects, and related roles within a business platforms team.
• Drive user training and collaborative process design to enhance the adoption of business platforms.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor application performance, ensuring adherence to high standards and SDLC best practices.
• Collaborate with end users and system owners in testing platforms or enhancements.
• Develop, maintain, and execute availability and disaster recovery plans for enterprise platforms.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, coordinating vendors for successful delivery.
• Maintain an inventory of business platforms and their corresponding contracts/agreements.

Qualifications:

• Accreditation in Agile delivery frameworks is a benefit (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, PSM).

Skills/Experience:

• Proven track record of leading digital transformation in business processes.
• Desire to grow and develop the Business Platforms team, creating seamless integration for single sources of truth.
• High-level business partnering, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• 7+ years of experience in information systems, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications (CRM/ERP) admins and developers.
• Deep experience in evaluating, implementing, and maintaining integrated business systems and processes.
• Strong experience collaborating with business platform vendors and departmental experts for successful implementations.
• Successful record of influencing, managing, and delivering cultural and behavioral change.
• Thorough understanding of data security.
• Experience in process improvement projects.
• Project management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with agile methods, code reviews, testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and SDLC.
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement techniques is a benefit.
• Experience with Salesforce, APIs, SQL, Power Apps/Power Automate, and Power BI is a benefit.
