Purpose Statement
To establish, grow, lead and manage the Purpose Lending: Retail Credit product and service offering.
To enable the Purpose Lending: Retail Credit Function with the right partnerships and the capacity to deliver quality products and services.
To develop and implement the Purpose Lending: Retail Credit business plan and strategy in order to contribute to the revenue growth of the bank.
Experience
Minimum:
3-5 years’ experience in the Retail, Finance or Banking industry
Applying business and commercial acumen and building/driving new business..
Negotiating and contracting complex and high value agreements and deals.
Product lifecycle management.
Product ownership, design and marketing.
Leading and managing internal and external teams.
Building stakeholder relationships/ partnership relationships.
Ideal:
Education, medical, and retail credit experience in both Greenfields and mature business spaces.
Business ownership, design and marketing in relation to new product life cycle.
Qualifications (Minimum)
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business Administration
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Masters Degree in Commerce or Business Administration
Knowledge
Minimum:
Commercial know how and understanding
Operations management principles and practices
Understanding of South African consumer trends
Defining and driving strategies for new products
Loan/credit structures
Retail knowledge and experience
Understanding of the integration of multiple omni-channels
People management principles and practices.
Marketing principles and practices
South African legislative requirements (FICA, NCA, CPA, POPI)
Ideal:
Operating practices and norms within the retail construction industry, education, medical and retail credit landscape
Have knowledge of international retail construction, education, medical and retail credit landscape landscape and trends
