Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

• Grade 12
• B Degree / B Tech / Advanced Diploma in Quality Surveying / Construction Management / Construction / Construction Economics at NQF Level 7 with 360 credits

Experience:

• Five (5) years’ experience in Quantity surveying / Cost engineering / Cost management / Engineering and Construction contracts / Project management in the built environment

Professional Registration Body:

• South African Council of Quantity Surveying Professionals (SACQS) as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the project life cycle
• Manage the delivery of the project quantity surveying service
• Manage team performance, development of skills, knowledge and capabilities
• Represent project controls in tender evaluations, contract clarification and cost negotiation
• Monitor, advise and support project controls and contract administration services
• Lead and support the collation and compilation of contract documentation
• Manage compliance with all Eskom and site related governance and Safety, Health and Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) requirements
