Manager, Reporting and Analytics (Coverage) at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide statistical and financial insights into the establishment and the attainment of the financial objectives of the Business Unit, predictive financial modelling and insights, as well as analytics for Consumer & High Net Worth, SA. The incumbent will identify business requirements for analytics and assist in visualisation and dashboarding in a sustainable way. They will also assist in automation of reports where appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Type of Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
• Field of Study: BCom IT/Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial/Engineering or related degree

Experience Required

• 5 years working in a SQL environment
• 5 years manipulating and processing large datasets
• 3 years building statistical models
• Presenting information to a large and senior audience

Technical Competencies:

• Strong statistical modelling skills
• Strong data manipulation skills
• Strong knowledge SQL and various SQL RDMS (Teradata, Microsoft, etc)
• Understanding of reporting systems (QlikView, Power BI, etc)
• Strong knowledge of Python/R/SAS
