    Manager Sales Development - Emerging Markets

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

    • To ensure ongoing support of EM Emerging Market) Wholesale according to Global as well as EM best practice standards for realizing profitable market share growth and smooth interaction across all clusters.
    • Coordination function with Global Center of Excellence for Wholesale along with project management and driving key initiatives into market clusters.
    • Support Digital Wholesale Solutions with implementation of best-in-class and future-oriented tools, processes, policies, and guidance to enable the Sales organization to achieve operational excellence and commercial success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To support Sales leadership with business updates and presentations, to participate in all internal strategic initiatives.
    • Drive the roll-out, execution and consolidating of all Global and Market projects as well as standardizing and complexity reduction by scaling these projects to all regions / clusters.
    • Promote Digital tools within the Market sales community and collects requirements. Manage and prioritize country/market requests in collaboration with Global DSS and Global Sales teams.
    • Ensure local reporting on defined with sales analytics KPI’s and share insights with relevant stakeholders; Identify deviations from targets and drive / recommend necessary changes.
    • Ensure a constant communication flow on status of the projects and initiatives to main stakeholders and other sales and/or project-related functions.
    • Monitor the performance of strategic initiatives within the scope of responsibility. Identify deviations from targets and recommend necessary changes.
    • Drive and co-ordinate compliance of cluster teams and the consolidation of commercial policies from clusters.
    • Support re-shaping wholesale workstreams which will include SPOC for Customer Segmentation and ensuring consistent Customer Classification.
    • Manage the roll-outs of the Digital Wholesale Tools (mostly Salesforce Solutions supporting the End-2-end Customer Journey from showcasing product, order creation all the way to supporting Customer Inquiries) in Emerging Market with the Global & cluster teams and drive process management.
    • Plan Digital WHS solutions tools roll-out waves with Sales coordination and Sales leadership team and ensure proper and timely communication to customers and organization.
    • Ensure season readiness of the sell-in tools in the market in close collaboration with the marketing, IT and Sales functions (content, master data, sales calendar, assortments, packages).
    • Provide trainings and regular updates of the local Digital Wholesale solutions to internal functions such as customer service and sales.
    • Co-ordinate cross-functionally with internal interfaces (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Service IT) to ensure the CLICK platform offers relevant, timely and engaging content.
    • Support Customer Service on technical issues within our Digital Solution reported by customers, creation of IT tickets to escalate to Global IT operations.
    • Tasks and project will not be limited to responsibilities listed, could change according to channel demand and manager’s discretion.

    • Market: Sales Channels, Marketing, CTC, IT, Demand Planning, BI and Finance

    Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

    • Understanding of Finance, Customer Service, Sales
    • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and quality.
    • Affinity to digital tools and e-processes
    • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft, SAP, Newsletter/ activation tools, Salesforce, HTML
    • Good organisational and analytical skills
    • Independent, proactive thinker
    • Commercially driven

    Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

    • University degree in business with Sales / Marketing focus
    • Minimum of 5 years within a commercially driven organization, preferably with sales or marketing experience within FMCG, apparel, fashion, shoes or comparable.
    • Cross-functional experience ideally with Customer Service/ Operations/ IT/ Sales/ Finance
    • Previous experience within an IT/service/SAAS environment is an advantage
    • Previous industry experience including sporting goods, fashion, FMCG
