Key Performance Output

• Ensure effective and efficient Incident management within the aredrome
• Ensure incident and accident scene until the relevant agencies takeover
• Ensure incident and accident with relevant agencies
• Ensure Security thoroughness and responsiveness
• Ensure investigation and report all Security incidents/deficiencies, non-conformances and complaints at high level and implement remedial action
• Ensure provide rapid response to all incident and accident
• Ensure blitz operations are conducted
• Ensure Investigations and follow up on suspected or suspicious behaviours are conducted
• Ensure compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and inspect registers where applicable.
• Ensure timely reviewing and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Proactively plan daily security activities.
• Prepare and implement contingency plans to mitigate identified security risks.
• Ensure inspections of operational equipment and tools associated within the operational area.
• Protect staff, whistleblower and VIP movement
• Ensure the route information management is coordinated and treated confidentially
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budget efficiently and report as required
• Conduct workforce planning to ensure function is suitably staffed to meet strategic functional objectives.
• Collaborate with SAPS and government agencies within the airport precinct.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree - Law / Auditing / Commerce / Risk Management / Compliance/ Forensic Investigations is essential
• Bachelor Honours Degree- Law / Auditing / Commerce / Risk/Compliance/Forensic Investigations is advantageous
• Firearm Competency
• Armed Response/Reaction Training certificate
• National Key Point (NKP) Certification
• Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) Grade C
• Tactical and Armed Security- 6 years operational experience is essential
• Tactical and Armed Security- 2 years supervisory experience is essential
• Detailed knowledge of Airside, Landside and Terminal operations
