    Senior Manager Loss Control Management.COE COE.Security - OHSA and Aviation (Safety / Security / Environment and Quality - SEQ)(I20001)

    Key Performance Output

    • Develop and lead implementation of loss control strategy to achieve business objectives within the necessary frameworks. 
    • Develop and implement Loss Control Procedure and monitor the overall business irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure.
    • Provide specialised advice on loss control management related matters to the Group. 
    • Manage Irregular Expenditure assessments and determinations
    • Ensure assessment and impact of irregular expenditure and fruitless and wasteful expenditure across all business units.
    • Develop and maintain the irregular expenditure register.
    • Lead the awareness campaign related to loss control management.
    • Provide leadership on loss control management for the group.
    • Provide recommendations regarding possible recovery of losses from the responsible parties and/or other appropriate consequence management processes to be implemented in line with the PFMA
    • Standardize loss determination processes relating to the handling, accounting, and dealing with
      irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure
    • Drive and implementing key projects relating to Loss Control management.
    • Develop, review, and raise awareness regarding the company’s loss control procedures and Frameworks.
    • Develop a process that will ensure the integration of business processes linked to Loss Control.
    • Manage the effectiveness and adequacy of risks associated with irregular expenditure.
    • Develop and monitor the risk register for Loss Control.
    • Institute and maintain an effective communication program for the organisation to Manage and promote Loss Control Management.
    • Ensure that the Loss Control, Loss Control Management Procedure, Loss Control Steering
    • Committee TOR, policies are current and aligned to legislative requirements and the overall
      business strategy.
    • Report to governance committees and subcommittees of EXCO
    • Monitor risks and ensure compliance with procedures and applicable policies
    • Approves that no loss has incurred during the contravention of legislation and that value for money was achieved, the accounting officer or accounting authority must refer the matter related
    • Quarterly reporting on to relevant executive committees on the status of Loss Control Management across the organistion.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    • Bachelors Degree (3 years -360 credits) Finance / SCM / Auditing / Commerce /Compliance Management / Risk Management / Forensic Management is essential

    IMC Controller- CTIA

    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate, reporting to the IMC Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

    • Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreements
    • Close out all completed maintenance activities (including outage) and update the system accordingly.
    • Ensure system integrity and accuracy of information.
    • Coordinate the execution and follow through of unplanned emergencies until resolved and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
    • Monitor progress to ensure on-time performance of unplanned maintenance activities.
    • Compile and submit shift reports.
    • Ensure that all affected stakeholders are up to date with the outage activities in their area.

    • The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification
    • National certificate in Technical, Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
    • A code 8 driver’s license with driving experience is essential.
    • 3 years’ technical operations experience is essential for this role.

    • A trade test completion is recommended.

    The successful candidate will be reporting to Benefits Specialist, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Assist in conducting benefits research and benchmarking, ensuring that the organisation is offering competitive benefits.
