    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to Benefits Specialist, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Assist in conducting benefits research and benchmarking, ensuring that the organisation is offering competitive benefits. 
    • Provide advice and facilitate the day to day operation of the ACSA benefits and ensure compliance to legislation and regulations. 
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. 
    • Ensure effective and regular communication of new statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures to ensure full awareness amongst employees and contractors. 
    • Ensure seamless delivery of employee corporate and fire and rescue uniforms, comfort footwear (excludes PPE). 
    • Ensure accurate management of contracts and data processing, including procurement, payment, processing and adherence to contracts. 
    • Initiate and coordinate ad-hoc benefits projects in line with HR business requirements. 
    • Provision of timely and accurate reports in accordance with business and management requirements. 
    • Run data exception reports and take corrective action. 
    • Provide input into annual budget planning process and submit to line management for approval. 
    • Coordinate budgeting and expenditure on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (including budget guidelines, forecasting and reporting). 
    • Support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
    • Provide specialised technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives. 

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree (3 years – 360 credits NQF 7) in Business Management/HR Management/Social Science is essential.
    • 6 to 8 years operational experience in Human Resource Management with exposure to stakeholder relations and project management essential.
    • Microsoft Office at intermediate level.
    • Code B;Motor vehicle licence is essential
