    Marketing Campaign Consultant - Bank Marketing

    Key purpose

    The Marketing Campaign Consultant delivers marketing communication campaigns according to best practise in design, targeting and personalisation to drive business objectives of acquisition, engagement utilisation and profitability, and brand love.

    Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

    • Executes and manages the campaign marketing strategy on a campaign management interface.

    • Builds, actively manages, and maintains the email calendar.

    • Coordinate various stakeholders to deliver campaigns including the brand communication teams, technical marketing, data teams and servicing.

    • Partners with stakeholders to ensure design, content and segmentation adhere to best practice standards.

    • Works with Brand and Business owners to execute full lifecycle programs that are relevant and appealing to target audiences.

    • Reports on and analyses key marketing metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting goals.

    • Analyses email campaigns to make recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness.

    • Perform post campaign analysis and proactively adapt future campaign strategies.

    • Brief stakeholders on data and segments required, as well as reporting requirements

    • Sharing of engagement as well as business results for post-campaign reporting.

    • Respond proactively to campaign follow-ups, escalations and provide communication back to clients, working closely with Discovery Bank servicing.

    • Manage payments or fulfilment of rewards with relevant partners and clients.

    • Assistance in building of templates on campaign management interface. HTML knowledge a key advantage.

    • Other adhoc requirements.

      • Various communication and media platforms eg Everlytic, Hybris

      • Experience working in campaign/project management, automation and reporting

      • Awareness of different Discovery audiences, Discovery’s products and business processes would be advantageous.

      • Education and Experience.

    · Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 year undergraduate degree or diploma (BA or B.Com in Marketing or Communication)  

    • Post graduate qualification in marketing is preferable

    • Relevant industry qualification.

    • Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ in Marketing or Communication with strong experience in campaign management or driving the business objectives with targeted communication.
