We are searching for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our FTC (FIXED TERM CONTRACT) graduate trainee program. As a graduate trainee, your responsibilities include shadowing various staff members, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops and other working environments to gain practical experience.
You should keep an accurate record of your time at the company and be able to pass a competency test at the end of the program.
Eligibility for the programme are recently qualified South African graduates in possession of the below-mentioned qualifications and digital literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook/ E mail, Internet/social media).
To be successful as a graduate trainee, you should be willing to learn about aspects of the company that lie outside of your department. An outstanding graduate trainee should develop good relationships with staff members and leave a lasting imprint.
What we are looking:
Supporting project coordination of events, roundtables and conferences
Developing event themes, agendas, session briefings and other collateral
Researching and suggesting suitable topics and speakers
Managing development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials.
Preparing social media content such as relevant captions, hashtags and images.
Analysing marketing and communications programs and make recommendations to adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
Managing digital and other marketing aspects of the business following our marketing calendar
Needs to be attentive to details.
Required to coordinate closely with internal teams.
Great teammate, with a flexible attitude and approach.
Bringing positive energy into the company.
Conducting research and assisting the Manager or Supervisor wherever possible.
Upholding the good name of the company at all times.
Writing a test or submitting to some other form of evaluation at the end of the graduate program.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree is required
A valid driver's license.
1 year experience in a relevant field will be ideal
Attention to details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent research abilities and a willingness to grow.
