Marketing Financial Reporting Analyst at Glencore

• The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly management reporting, performing financial reconciliations, and providing analytical insights that enable informed business decision-making through the effective use of advanced technologies, including Power BI, Power Query, automation tools, and emerging AI capabilities to drive efficiency and reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Working Capital, P&L, and SG&A management reporting.
• Prepare financial analyses and ad hoc reporting as required to support business decision-making.
• Ensure standardization across departments, functions and regions.
• Perform reconciliations between source systems, reporting tools, and consolidation platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain reporting structures, mappings, and master data files.
• Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of reporting dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
• Refresh, troubleshoot, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure reliable reporting outputs.
• Actively manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or equivalent with 2 years’ post-articles or post-qualification experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, or management reporting.  
• Certifications or demonstrated experience in Power BI dashboard development, maintenance and reporting analytics.
• Experience producing monthly management reporting.
• Experience with financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting investigations.
• Prior Power Query and Power Automate and SharePoint administration experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• ERP Systems experience (SAP, HFM, or similar)
• English language ability, both written and spoken.
