Marketing Manager (Crop Insurance) at TWK Agri

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage, direct, and monitor advisor’s activities and the overall performance of the team to increase efficiency and maximize performance
• Effective liaison, support, and assistance within the division
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and insurers in the industry
• Set-up training programmes for junior brokers
• Identify growth opportunities in market
• Recruit, develop and retain skilled brokers
• Monitor crop administration team
• Achieve target/budgets
• Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgets
• Minimize risk of financial loss
• Manage insurance data and reporting
• Manage and maintain contact with internal and external clients/customers and suppliers
• Maintain accurate records
• Continual reporting to senior management

Minimum requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant degree / qualification (preferably a BCom or Agricultural degree)
• Minimum of 10 years experience
• Completed Regulatory Examination RE1 and RE5 (Representatives Exam)
• Completed relevant class of business training
• Advanced knowledge and experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Strong administrative and reporting skills
• Driver’s Licence
