Job Description:

• As a Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to enhance our regional presence and drive business growth.
• You will lead your team and collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns. 
• Lead Corporate Marketing for the VKB Group in the NTK Region, providing access to complete marketing communications services for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns in the region.
• Manage and oversee the marketing team in the region.
• Create and manage marketing budgets.
• Analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with other business teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Oversee the creation of marketing assets, including printed materials and advertisements for the region.
• Maintain and enhance the region’s digital presence through effective liaison with the Corporate Communications department and providing high-quality content aligned with the Group’s digital and social media strategies.
• Utilise CRM and drive client service in the area.

Qualifications:

• NQF Level 7: National Certificate / Advanced Diploma / B Tech Degree/bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Specific qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, People Engagement, Stakeholder Engagement, Business Development and/or Sales.
• Experience in corporate marketing: 5 years.
• Experience in the agricultural industry: 5 years.
• Experience in retail marketing, retail sales development, and new market development, as well as a strong understanding of agriculture, would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM software is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ‘365.
