Marketing Officer/Specialist at Ovations Technologies

We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Officer/Specialist with 5+ years experience in the ICT field to join our collaborative culture of excellence.

• To manage the Marketing function of Ovations in order to drive awareness of the business into the relevant market place.
• Develop and maintain an Ovations marketing strategy.
• Plan and manage Ovations events participation.
• Monitors progress and performance against deadlines and milestones (or implement systems to monitor progress and performance)
• Unhesitatingly makes prompt, timely and clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered/calculated risks, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines
• Keeps up to date with competitor information and market trends. Knowledgeable in current and possible future politics, practices, trends and information affecting his/her business and organisation. Identifies business opportunities for the organisation. Demonstrates financial awareness. Controls costs and thinks in terms of profit, loss and added value
• Level of support to and participation in people program initiatives such as recruitment and group events

Requirements :

• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
• Min 5 years marketing experience (ICT or similar essential)
• Adaptable, excellent relationship building skills, persuasive, client focused
• Advanced presentation skills
• Event coordination
