Master Data Administrator at RCL Foods

• The role will be based in Durban and report to the Master Data Consultant. RCL FOODS entrusts the successful incumbent to provide administrative support to the Master Data team by validating the submission of requests in Master Data for compliance with policies and procedures while ensuring timely and accurate capture of vendor Master Data.

Minimum Requirements    

• BCom (Financial Accounting/Financial Management) or relevant Supply Chain tertiary qualification
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a SAP master data environment or similar intergrated systems environment (will be an added advantage)
• Experience of business processes and disciplines within the Order to Cash environment or a combination of least 2 to 3 divisions or fuctions such as Commercial, Debtors, Sales, Stock Management, Planning, Data Analysis and reporting (will be an added advantage)

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Cleanse and test the accuracy and completeness of requests for new master data records, through direct communication with the business stakeholders
• Update master data attributes accurately and timeously as per authorisation from designated approvers.
• Support the Master Data team in managing new and modified data attributes, including effective communication with end users
• Continuously propose and implement ways to improve master data maintenance and housekeeping practices
• Maintain relationships with all stakeholders that utilise master data within the broader information managemtnt systems
• Perform independent verification/validation checks on master data take on and amendments
• Ensure the capture of new master data and requests for amendments are appropriately authorised and correctly filed and safeguarded for audit requirements
• Perform technical administration including running reports and formatting and validating data including reviews for duplications
