Master Data Clerk at Boxer Superstores

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a data-related or retail environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

New Supplier Listings

• Capture new supplier trades.
• Prelisting and ranging for stores.
• Update supplier contact details.
• Perform regular audits.

Account Closures

• Manage the closure of supplier accounts and ensure accurate data capture.

New Item Listings

• List new items into the business using prelisting forms.

Master Data Attribute Changes

• Capture and update master data changes on items.
• Manage changes like case pack, barcode updates, configurations, dimensions, product codes, descriptions, UOM (unit of measure), category, tax type, and shelf life/expiry.
• Add or modify brand names and Pick n Pay article numbers.

Linking

• Link or delink stores to suppliers.
• Add or remove items from suppliers.

Ranging

• Activate, derange, suspend, or discontinue items for stores.
• Perform national ranging exercises.
• Update replenishment types for stores.

Buying Help Desk Queries

• Resolve master data attribute changes, barcode issues, store range alignment, and master/variant anomalies.
• Address new store linking, range refreshes, and gap analyses.
• Handle Pick n Pay IDOCs (265, 266, 248).
