Education & Experience Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage and coordinate all store orders, including Jab orders.
• Maintain daily communication with store managers and regional teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Expertly handle and resolve help desk queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Implement and oversee effective pallet control procedures to maintain operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail space planning or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong internal stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with buyers.
• Knowledge of Bomm is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Space Planning:

• Create generic and store-specific planograms based on buyer-approved ranges.
• Ensure all SKUs in the buyer’s range are accurately reflected in the planograms.
• Refresh data and import the latest 6-month data for accurate planning.
• Adjust space allocations based on days of supply and merchandising rules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review, refine, and finalize planograms.
• Publish approved planograms for supplier access via the Boxer FTP site.

Planogram Development:

• Develop planograms aligned to assortment targets, format, and cluster at SKU level.
• Upload and maintain planograms on the system for easy reference.

Ad-hoc & Project-Based Tasks:

• Update product images and dimensions in planograms.
• Classify new product introductions in CatMan DW.
• Contribute to exciting projects, including new store launches, revamps, and remodels.

Key Responsibilities

New Supplier Listings

• Capture new supplier trades.
• Prelisting and ranging for stores.
• Update supplier contact details.
• Perform regular audits.

Account Closures

• Manage the closure of supplier accounts and ensure accurate data capture.

New Item Listings

• List new items into the business using prelisting forms.

Master Data Attribute Changes

• Capture and update master data changes on items.
• Manage changes like case pack, barcode updates, configurations, dimensions, product codes, descriptions, UOM (unit of measure), category, tax type, and shelf life/expiry.
• Add or modify brand names and Pick n Pay article numbers.

Linking

• Link or delink stores to suppliers.
• Add or remove items from suppliers.

Ranging

• Activate, derange, suspend, or discontinue items for stores.
• Perform national ranging exercises.
• Update replenishment types for stores.

Buying Help Desk Queries

• Resolve master data attribute changes, barcode issues, store range alignment, and master/variant anomalies.
• Address new store linking, range refreshes, and gap analyses.
• Handle Pick n Pay IDOCs (265, 266, 248).
