Master Data Specialist ( 6 Months Contract) at Danone

Job Purpose

This role is primarily responsible for the overall control of ERP master data by ensuring standards are established, maintained and improved as per business requirements. Safeguarding of confidential information, and establishing data standards, licences, and processes, of instances on when & what information must be captured in SAP.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Master Data Management

• Ascertain the processes that are impacted by different databases and recommend to the business on the correct information to be captured and updated accurately; understanding all pricing master data fields and their impact upon business processes.
• Custodians in managing the customer/pricing/material/BOM/business partner creation process.
• Responsible for data integrity for all master data related requests.
• Extracting and collating data reports for validation reviews.
• Responsible for the verification of data accuracy in the system.
• Planning and implementing price increase and new product listing process bi-annually or when required.
• Responsible for maintaining customer, pricing, business partner &material master.

Control & Analysis

• Analyze and identify opportunities for growth and efficiencies across all customer groups.
• Able to utilize BI tools to understand business impact.
• Conduct root cause analysis for all IDOC failures.
• Escalate Master Data issues to the appropriate parties and actively drive resolution
• Coordinate resolution of any incorrect data and impact on business performance
• Contribute to the risk assessment process and implement any necessary changes to contain and reduce risks.

Reporting

• Report and recommend any business risk and non-conformity of business processes.
• Collate relevant weekly statistical information that can be used as a management tool to relevant stakeholders.
• Generate Daily Weekly monthly MD reports on new master creations / changes / deletions.
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports to measure business growth, pricing activity and productivity on the customer service master data space.
• Reconcile adhoc reporting
• Administering and investigation of pricing claims to drive for resolution
• Stakeholder Management/Engagement
• Resolve all queries within SLA.
• Regularly interaction with relevant stakeholders.

Qualification(s)

• Higher Education Qualification with a certificate in Informatics or equivalent.
   

Experience And Skills

• 4 or more years experience in master data or equivalent.
• Intermediary knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Intermediary knowledge of GS1, FICO, Materials Handling and Oder to Cash end-to-end processes.
