Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 1 year of appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage. Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge and experience in the SRM (Supply Relation Management) system will be an added advantage.
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Good communication, interpersonal, Organizational and administrative skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
Duties :
Provide administrative support to Supply Chain management operations. Determine source of strategy, conduct market research and identify procurement requirement. Compile procurement RFQ for approved specification request.
Create shopping cart, follow up purchase order creation. Perform pre-posting of VA2 transactions and update VA10 tally cards to maintain accurate inventory records to monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure optimal inventory. Capture procurement requisitions and purchase orders on the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) System.
Perform posting clerk functions, including receiving, sorting, recording and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence and official documents. Assist with asset management by maintaining the asset register and updating asset records. Conduct asset verification, tagging, movement tracking and disposal processes in accordance with departmental policies.
Prepare report relating to procurement, warehouse activities, postings and assets. Ensure compliance with the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, SCM prescripts, and departmental policies.
