    Staff Nurse Grade 1-3

    Requirements :

    • Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse (Enrolled Nurse). A 1-year psychiatric experience will serve as an added advantage.
    • Must possess communication skills, empathy and compassion, time management, medical knowledge, organizational skills.
    • Must know Batho Pele principles and its applicability. Must know and apply six-key ministerial priorities. Must be conversant with National Core Standards.

    Duties :

    • Perform nursing practice particularly for assessment of psychosocial health needs in line with physiological ones design, implementation and evaluation of care planning with the partnership of client - restoration and promotion of mental health and enhancement of quality of life as client’s desire - collaboration with other mental health team members in the care provision.
    • Safeguard Mental Health Care Users (MHCU) from unsafe practice. Ensure patients’ rights of dignity, autonomy, privacy, confidentiality and access to information.

    Professional Nurse General Grade 1 - 3 (Hast)

    Requirements :

    • Matric, Diploma/Degree in nursing (Basic R171, R174 or R425) qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional/Registered Nurse.
    • Exposure working in HIV/AIDS and TB programmes, NIMART training (Nurse Initiated Management of ART) or Vertical Mother-to-Child training programme (VTP) will be an added advantage.     Duties :

Screen all HIV positive patients for TB and other health conditions before they are initiated on ART.

    Manager Nursing Practice And Education

    Requirements :

    • Basic R.425 qualification (i.e. diploma / degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
    • Diploma / Degree in Nursing Administration or Health Services Management of at least one-year duration and is registered as such by the South African Nursing Council will be an added advantage .

    • Provide strategic oversight of clinical nursing education and training, including the coordination of student nurse clinical placements, clinical learning environments, supervision, mentorship and collaboration with nursing education institutions.
    • Lead nursing workforce development, professional development, leadership development, succession planning and competency improvement across the district.     Occupational Medical Specialist

    Requirements :

    • A Master’s degree in medicine (MMed) or Fellow of the college of FCPHMP (SA) or equivalent, meeting HPCSA definition of an Occupational Medical Specialist.     Medical Officer Grade 1, 2 And 3

    Requirements :

    • MBchB/ MBBCh or equivalent qualification. Appropriate qualification and work experience that allows registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Medical Practitioner and proof of current registration with HPCSA:

    Assistant Director: Security

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 or matric certificate. A relevant bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Security Management. At least 3 years relevant experience at supervisory level in security management.

    Duties :

    • Liaise and communicate regularly with the contracted security service provider to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and departmental standards. Manage security guarding services of the hospital’s inhouse security personnel. Liaise with the South African Police Service and Security Management Directorate at Gauteng Department of Health (GDoH) Central Office where indicated.
    • Conduct security risk assessments and coordinate appropriate interventions to mitigate identified risks. Provide strategic advice to executive management on security-related matters. Implement the security policies and all related prescripts appropriately. Assess and improve the effectiveness of security control systems.     Clinical Coordinator - Quality Assurance

    Requirements :

    Requirements :

    Requirements :

    • A minimum of a Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification. The ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Experience in a clinical/ hospital environment will be an added advantage.

    Assistant Director- Occupational Hygiene Technologist

    Requirements :

    • Qualification: Must have a science-based 4-year degree in environmental health or equivalent with occupational hygiene as a major. Registration: Must be SAIOH or HPCSA Registered as an independent Environmental Health Practitioner or Occupational Hygiene Technologist or Occupational hygienist and appropriately certified by the SAIOH Certification Committee.

    Requirements :

    Requirements :

    Professional Nurse Grade 1 (General Nursing) Pn-a2

    Requirements :

    • An appropriate qualification, i.e., Diploma / Degree in nursing that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as Professional Nurse with midwifery.     Operational Manager (Speciality Pn-b3)

    Requirements :

    • Basic qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice 425 or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse plus a post basic diploma in Child Nursing Science with a duration of at least 1 year. A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing.

    • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of nursing legislation and ethical nursing practice and how it impacts service delivery.
