A minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. Have a basic literacy skill; that is read and write, basic communication skills. Good interpersonal, organizing, people skills, client orientated and customer focus.
Basic recordkeeping skills, time management and teamwork. Knowledge of Batho-Pele principle. Previous experience in the Public Service will serve as an added advantage.
Duties :
Collect and deliver files, documents, parcels and medical records from wards and clinics. Distribute memos, circulars and other official documents. Assist with registry duties; including filing, photocopying and shredding of documents. Handle confidential information responsibly. Collect files from wards and other units according to a schedule and upon request.
Deliver stock to the wards, including ward stock, vacutainers and medication packets as scheduled and when requested. Keep accurate records of files collected and stock delivered. Move and handle boxes of stock within designated areas.
