Material Recording Clerk – Warehouse Store Management Level 5
Candidate must be in possession of Grade 12 certificate, have Diploma in Public Finance /Logistic / SCM or any relevant with 2 years’ minimum experience in Inventory or store Management).
Understanding of Public Service Legislative Framework including Treasury Regulations, PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, PAS Manual, Practice notes. Contract Management and Asset Management.
Have basic knowledge and understanding of Warehouse / Store Management. Good communication skills, interpersonal relation, presentation skills and computer skills in MS Office package (MS- word, Excel, Power point and or SCM transversal system such SAP R3 and SRM will be added as an advantage. Competencies: Good verbal and written communication, good numeracy skills and strong relations.
Ability to interact with all levels both internal and external stakeholders and or End-Users. Must have ability to work independently under pressure and be creative thinker. Have a good ethical conduct, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Duties :
Perform logistical related clerical services support task. Ensure that all transactions are accurately and tally with all the cards. Receiving and issuing of stock, check for correctness quality and quantity.
Store stock according to the prescribed warehouse management principles. Monitor the availability of stock. Ensure safekeeping of all stock and stock records. Conduct daily sport checks and monthly stock stake. Ensure that requisitions are attended on time. Report re-order level stock item to Account department for replenishment purpose. Report disposable stock items to Logistics Officer. Maintain stock levels for all inventory. Maintain record keeping. Compile and submit reports.
Attend to all queries both internal and external. Participate in bi and annual stock taking. Ensure journal are done daily. Compile VA7/VA2 or relevant document for distribution of goods and services. Expedites any outstanding deliveries. Compile weekly and monthly (Theoretical reports). Execute all work-related instruction as required by the supervisor.
