We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics and Natural Science to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both subjects and a proven track record of successful teaching. The Teacher of Mathematics/Natural Science will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure an integrated and cohesive curriculum
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Natural Science, or a related field
Teaching certification or license in Mathematics and/or Natural Science
Previous teaching experience in Mathematics and Natural Science at the secondary level preferred
Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and best practices in teaching Mathematics and Natural Science
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
