Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

• The main responsibility is to ensure high availability and improve the performance of the Virtual Desktop environment within complete application suite in SANNE workplace, as well as to manage maintain and support Virtual desktop Citrix and RDS environments keeping the end user experience at highest level
• Manage various types of medium-to-complex project initiatives, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Application and Operating System life-cycle management including upgrades, patching and off-hours maintenance and change control execution
• Automation of engineered scripted solutions to address configuration issues or desired results.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and analyse issues with Servers, Applications, infrastructure services etc...
• Must have experience with Microsoft server operating systems and services, to include Active Directory, File and Print services, IIS, permissions, and security; experience with Microsoft desktop applications and operating systems; and experience with network protocols, design and maintenance.
• Analytical and strategic: Need to be able to use data to generate insights and reports that translate into strategic initiatives to improve processes
• Must have good organization skills to balance and prioritize work and multitask; good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems; and good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
Skills / experience required:

• Experience: 5-7 years’ experience working with and/or managing employee experience tools
• Strong Domain Expertise: Be equipped with knowledge on deploying and managing employee virtual desktop environment such as Citrix, Microsoft RDS
• Organized and creative: Must be able to respond to tight timelines and have the ability to problem-solve with creative solutions that enhance the employee experience

Desirable:

• AWS administration experience
• Experience with VMWare vCenter/vSphere a plus
• PowerShell or similar scripting experience
• Hybrid Exchange / Office 365
