Package : Grade 1-R671.00 rate per hour, Grade 2-R766.00 rate per hour, Grade 3-R887.00 rate per hour
Requirements :
National Senior Certificate/Matric, MBCHB Degree that allows registration with HPCSA as a Medical Officer and current annual registration.
Grade 1: No experience required after completion of Community Service and registration with HPCSA as a Medical Officer. Grade 2: A minimum of five years’ experience after registration with HPCSA as a Medical Officer. Grade 3: A minimum of ten years’ experience after registration with HPCSA as a Medical Officer.
Ability to function independently and be part of a multi-disciplinary team. Successful applicant must be solution-oriented and have good decision-making skills. Advance Trauma Life Support training and Advanced Cardiovascular life support will be an added advantage.
Basic medical knowledge in Family medicine outpatient management. Assist with the maintenance of standards of care and implementation of quality improvement programmes within the department. Readiness to work shifts and long hours.
Duties :
Render inpatient and outpatient services in the disciplines. Provide critical care and treatment.
Manage Orthopaedic and outpatient emergency. Provide training and supervision to Medical Interns and Students. Better utilisation of resources. Assist with the administrative activities of the department. Assist and participate in the research activities as defined within the department. Ensure compliance with the policies and protocols.
