MBChB or a relevant qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. Registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner current annual registration.
Grade 1 no experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with the HPCSA in respect of South African qualified employees.
Grade 2 minimum of 5 years appropriate experience as Medical Practitioner after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner in respect of South African qualified employees.
Grade 3 minimum of 10 years appropriate experience as a Medical Practitioner after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner in respect of South African qualified employees. Advanced Trauma Life Support, Basic Surgical Skills and Primaries will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Shift work in the Emergency Medicine Department.
Evaluation and clinical management of patients referred to the Emergency Department.
Clinical training of undergraduates.
Relevant administration functions as required including for medico legal purposes.
