Registration with HPCSA for the financial year 2025/26. The incumbent s will be rotated between institutions.

Duties :
The incumbent will interview, investigate, diagnose, and oversee the treatment of patient related administrative duties, participate in all activities of the discipline in relation to teaching and research, participate in departmental audit activities, prepare and write reports, liaison and communication services and community liaison. Supervise junior doctors (undergraduate students, interns, and community service doctors).
Attend relevant administrative meetings like mortality meetings, near miss meetings, and completing MEDICO Legal Documents timeously (e.g., Death certificate). Reduce medical litigation by exercising good clinical ethos. Implement and monitor adherence to National Core Standards (Norms and Standards). Participate in multidisciplinary team to manage patients. Perform practical procedures relevant to the care of patients.
Ensure that administration and record keeping is done in the department. Willing to work longer hours (night, weekend and public holiday) duties to provide continuous uninterrupted care of patients. Render clinical services, assessments and treatment of patients, the incumbent will be rotated through related departments at various hospitals, comprising hospitals served in their specific outreach programmes.
