    Medical Scientist/Technologist- with HPCSA Registration (ESSENTIAL)

    About the Role

    • Qualifications: BTech/BSc (Hons) or higher (virology, biochemistry, human genetics or similar).
    • Essential: Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Scientist or Medical Technologist.
    • Scope of work of the position: Testing of biological samples, which entails wet-lab work, data analysis and report generation..
    • Skills: Molecular techniques (next generation sequencing, microarrays, PCR and nucleic acid extraction and isolation from various sample types).
    • Personality: Careful and meticulous, adhering to good laboratory practice. Enthusiastic and motivated.
