Duties :
The department of Radiation Oncology is based at Steve Biko Academic hopsital and affiliated with the University of Pretoria.
This will be a joint academic post. This is a full time, permanent postion for a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Steve Biko Academic hospital.
The candidate should have full registration in radiation oncology with the health professional Council of South Africa. Clinical duties include running radiation oncology clinics, radiotherapy planning and treatment, participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings, supervision and training of registrars. Academic participation includes participation in research activities, lecturing undergraduate and post graduate students in medical and affiliated fields.
Duties include compulsory overtime and ward cover. Applications must include CV, completed latest Z83, copy of identity document, copy of Degree certificate as well as certificate of HPCSA registration. All copies must be certified.
