Duties :

• Report all faulty equipment’s to ECG Department supervisor. Compilation and submission of ECG stats to the unit supervisor. Ensure ECG machines are cleaned before and after doing ECG to ensure that the infection control policy is adhered to.

Requirements :

• Post basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification that allows registration with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic). Current registration with SAPC is a requirement. No experience after registration with SAPC as Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic). Computer literacy will be an added advantage. Duties :

• Assist with stock taking in the pharmacy store. Picking, labelling of prescriptions and counselling of patients under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist with the re-packaging of medicine, according to standard operating procedures approved by the responsible pharmacist.
• Assist with ordering, receiving and distribution of pharmaceuticals to various outlets. Assist in implementation of SOP’s, good pharmacy practice, norms and standards. Requirements :

• Grade 12 and a B / BSc degree in dietetics with registration as an independent practitioner with HPCSA as a Dietician.
• Candidate must be CPD compliant. Level would be dependent on verifiable experience for OSD purposes. No experience needed after registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Duties :

• To implement anthropometric and other measurements in assessment of patients and the introduction of a nutrition risk screening tool to ensure appropriate referral to dietitian. To provide dietetic advice and plan nutritional care for individual or groups of patients to meet their specific nutritional requirements.
