MEDICAL SPECIALIST (SUB SPECIALITY) GRADE 1-3

• SALARY: R1 615 818 – R2 301 186 per annum (OSD)
• GRADE 1: R 1 615 818 – R1 71 534 per annum (OSD)
• GRADE 2: R 1 844 151 – R1 956 582 per annum (OSD)
• GRADE 3: R 2 014 278 - R2 301 186 per annum (OSD)
• (All-inclusive remuneration package) -basic salary consists of 70% or 75% of total package, salary package will be structured according to Middle Management Service guidelines

REQUIREMENTS :

• Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Medical Specialist in a recognized Sub-specialty. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in a recognized Sub specialty.

Experience:

• Grade 1: None after registration\ with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in a recognized Subspecialty.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Specialist after registration with the HPCSA (or recognized foreign Health Professions Council in respect of foreign qualified employees) as Medical Specialist in a recognized Sub-specialty.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Specialist after registration with the HPCSA (or recognized foreign Health Professions Council in respect of foreign qualified employee) as a Medical Specialist in a recognized Sub-specialty
