Key Responsibilities

EXECUTING THE BRIEF

• Accurately creates a Job Style in Sync, using the Buyers brief.
• Populates cost card and ensure that costings are fully and accurately updated.
• Diligently follows up on print and embroidery costings to ensure that they are submitted.
• Source Special Trims and submit for approval
• Compiles, updates and maintains Jobs in Sync as per the published SOP

PRE-PRODUCTION

• Actively participates and follows up on all aspects of the Sync system with regards to deadlines.
• Identify styles that can be linked to previous approved Fits
• Liaise with Patternmaker and Grader to resolve any issues.
• Efficiently compiles and issue the 1st Fit sample pack to the sample room. Check Fit comments
• Effectively and efficiently ensures that off bulk fabric and trims have been delivered in time.
• Ensure that PP samples are correct and sent timeously for sealing
• Update Sync tasks and statuses timeously

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Design and/or Clothing Manufacturing would be an advantageous
• 2 – 5 Years’ Experience in a similar Role based in a Clothing Manufacturing environment
• Excel, Word Proficient
• Sync experience will be an advantage
• Effective and efficient in planning and prioritizing to achieve deadline activities
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, outwork and garment construction
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of garment costing and margin management
• Competencies Attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizing skills
• Strong sense or urgency
• Proactive
