Adult Education and Training (AET/ABET) level 3 or equivalent (Grade 7). No experience required. Skills/Knowledge/Competence: Basic understanding of Policies (Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter, Occupational Health and Safety, Six Priorities and National Core Standards). Basic record keeping skills. Time management and teamwork.
Ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skill. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate well with people at different levels.
Ability to organize and plan. Ability to act with tact and discretion. Must be self-motivated. Ability to handle tasks of multidisciplinary nature and work independently and in a team. Knowledge of Labour Relations processes.
Must be prepared to engage in intensive labour practices. High level of reliability. Good customer skills and competencies. Must be able to work under pressure and to take initiative. Knowledge of regulations and the legislative framework related to Laundry. Experience in a similar environment or health entity will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Collect and deliver files documents, parcels, mail from laundry to other units according to a schedule and upon request. Distribute memos, circulars, and official documents.
Maintain registers and track documents. Assist with filing, photocopying, and shredding. Handle confidential information responsibly. Keep accurate records of files collected.
