Mid/Senior Conceptual Art Director at Crayon

Role Description

Looking for a talented, motivated Art Director to join a dynamic team, pushing to do the best work for great clients in SA, Africa and beyond. The ideal candidate must be a thinker and crafter, with strong design skills, TTL experience and a portfolio of exciting work to share.

Salary

• R40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and execute award winning creative ideas
• Manage visual identity of a brand/ brands
• Interact with other agency teams/ divisions to develop creative concepts
• Create print and editorial layouts and oversee shoots
• Ensure consistency and integration of art direction across all communication channels
• Responsible for seeing the idea through the creative process to final sign off
• Work to brief and show understanding and relevance to the target market
• Develop professional skills on a daily basis
• Develop and execute outstanding work across ATL/BTL
• Contribute to proactivity and innovative thinking on brands
• Push your craft to make the work shine
• Understand the strategy and business context, and always aim to do work that performs
• Build a strongly collaborative relationship with broader team, partners and clients

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role + 5 years’ agency experience
• A killer portfolio
• Relevant Degree/Diploma
• Talented, motivated Art Director
• Integrated thinker
• Financial Services experience a plus 
• Relevant software mastery
