    Miller Assistant - Gqeberha Mill

    Responsibilities

    Job Overview:

    To load flour & bran into tankers/trucks

    • Monitored machine efficiency
    • Checked vitamin dosages and quality
    • Assisted Miller with maintenance at plantsifters, filters and conveyors
    • Performed all other duties assigned by Miller
    • Prepared moisture and quality reports and control sheets when required
    • Reported deviation to the Miller
    • Proactive prevented chokes and downtime
    • Operated Mill Scada
    • Relieve Miller when necessary
    • Maintained housekeeping
    • Always worn safety gear (PPE)
    • Maintained food safety and hygiene standards

    Qualifications

    • Matric preferably in Maths and Science
    • Milling Qualification will be an added advantage
