Job Summary

• A manufacturing company based in Germiston is seeking a skilled Milling & Turning Machinist with experience in conventional and/or CNC machining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precision-engineered components according to technical drawings and production requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate milling and turning machines safely and efficiently
• Set up machines and tooling according to job specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Manufacture components according to required tolerances and measurements
• Perform machine adjustments when necessary
• Conduct basic maintenance and housekeeping on machines

• Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in milling and turning
• Experience in conventional and/or CNC machining
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and machining tolerances
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good problem-solving skills
• Preferred Experience:
• CNC Milling and CNC Turning experience advantageous
• Trade Test qualification advantageous
• Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environmentSalary:
• Market-related salary based on experience and qualifications
