Job Description

• A leading water treatment and sanitation solutions provider is seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal operational efficiency, maintenance, and fault-finding of mechanical and electrical equipment within water treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, blowers, and piping systems
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical control panels, motors, and instrumentation
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimize system downtime
• Conduct precision alignment, rigging, and fitting of heavy machinery
• Adhere strictly to industry health, safety, and environmental compliance standards

Requirements

• Qualified Millwright (Trade Test / Red Seal required)
• Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-apprenticeship experience within water treatment, sanitation, or heavy utility process environments
• Strong proficiency in fault-finding across both electrical systems and mechanical plant machinery
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to respond to standby duties or emergency repairs
