Attending to plant electrical and mechanical breakdowns in a shift.
Ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with the safety regulations and advising the maintenance manager on any risks or improvements required for all equipment.
Replacing defective machine parts or adjusting clearances and alignment of moving parts
Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
Shrink-fit bushings, sleeves, rings, liners, gears, and wheels to specified items, using portable gas heating equipment.
Safety and equipment inspections
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings related to equipment and machine.

An ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Engineering or a minimum of an N3 engineering qualification and a Millwright Trade test.
You need to have 5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing/plant environment, exposure to WinCC flowcharts and understanding of PLC I/Os to assist in fault finding. Experience in Variable Speed drives, Hydraulic and Pneumatic.
Good communication skills, project management. Knowledge of EWO and Kaizen methodologies.
