The Mine Manager is responsible for the overall management of mining projects as well as assisting in staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals, and evaluating performance.
Key Responsibilities:
The Mine Manager will supervise all mine activities and resource allocation to ensure optimum performance
Develop and implement effective training strategies and provide technical guidance
Participate in enhancing community involvement and public relations
Ensure compliance to all required health, safety and environmental standards
Have strong knowledge around heavy machinery and maintenance schedules

Degree or Technical Diploma in Mining Engineering
Blasting Certificate for Opencast Mines
Mine Health and Safety Act (3.1) appointment
15 plus year's experience in extraction and excavation gold mining
Must be willing to relocate to outside of South Africa under either family or single status
