Miner - Newcastle / Dundee at Oza Holdings

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, leading, organisation and control of the production at one of the rig sections and to comply with the company’s SHE Systems.
• Manage the health and safety of employees, material and discipline.
• Focus on safe quality of work, achieving of production targets, housekeeping, supervise and coordinate support functions.
• Controlling and directing all activities of subordinates within your area of responsibility and as such takes on the role as coach, mentor and instructor.
• Conduct daily reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric
• Valid Blasting Certificate
• Gas Testing
• Competent A
• 5 years’ experience as a Miner in coal mining
• Trackless experience in underground hard rock mine will serve as an advantage
