Mining Engineer x 3 required at Hire Resolve

Description

Hire Resolve is currently seeking three experienced Mining Engineers to join their clients expanding operations in the Northern Cape and across South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing mining plans, schedules, and equipment selections.
• Conducting feasibility studies, analyzing data, and ensuring safety regulations are met.
• Making recommendations based on technical analyses and operational parameters.
• Preparing cost analysis, project schedules, and budget estimates for clients.
• Overseeing mining activities and ensuring they comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as geologists and contractors.
• Demonstrating business acumen and staying up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Mining Engineer or related position.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, regulations, and project management methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with CAD and other mining software, such as Surpac and Vulcan.
• Familiarity with industry-related software, including scheduling, planning, and estimating.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations as required.
