The primary responsibility will be to lead a team, allocate tasks, oversee the overall of the plant. The technician will also be responsible for the production of product samples for product development.
Job Description
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Produce minimum daily required tonnes of final product.
Be accountable for recording and carrying out accurately all safety and quality procedures and policies
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing facility.
Maintain equipment, consumables, raw materials inventories and to properly maintain mixing equipment for preventive maintenance programs.
Responsible for becoming a member of the Food Safety Team
Qualifications
A minimum of a Diploma or equivalent required

Computer knowledge and efficiency, including MS Office products such as MS visio, excel, word and projects.
