The Model Coordination Managers responsibilities are to ensure that from a technology perspective, the project objectives and BIM uses are achieved and that models are integrated and coordinated. An advanced user in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks software who can fulfill with limited or without supervision the role of a BIM Manager/Coordinator on medium to large buildings projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This job will not be discipline specific, but will focus on a multi-discipline responsibility
Knowledge of AECOM standard modelling practices and procedures
Participating in the BIM Execution Planning process
Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and common model development tasks
Works with BIM Modellers and project engineers to communicate, problem solve, and update models for coordination and design issues
Help implement BIM processes to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery process.
Setup and management of the Common Data Environment
Manages all activities involved in model coordination on multi-disciplinary design models
Clash detection, clash report generation and circulation, clash resolution and tracking
Facilitating model management and coordination meetings
Validating the BIM Model at each exchange data drop as defined in the BIM Execution Plan
Ensures adherence to AECOM quality standards, as well as consistent application of organisational policies and monitors budget requirements for projects in support of these
Works on complex duties requiring advanced techniques or an extensive and diversified knowledge of specialised areas of model coordination and collaboration
Improve and customisation of project content libraries (e.g. Revit families)
Develop and execute project user training for BIM software and processes
Qualifications
Discipline design degree preferred
Minimum 3 years 3D modelling experience with experience in model coordination, including more experience in a supervisory capacity
Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
Revit Certified Professional certification required within 3 years of current version
Must be proficient in Navisworks Manage
Must be proficient in drawing/model management systems (Like Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360/ACC))
Must be versed in local industry BIM Initiatives and internationally recognised BIM initiatives, standards, protocols and mandates like ISO19650
General knowledge of integrated architectural and engineering practice
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Should have a thorough grasp of engineering modelling and principles
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
Must have good communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written
