Motor Claims Vehicle Assessor at MiWay Insurance Limited

What will you do?

• The Motor Claims Vehicle Assessor is responsible for conducting on-site assessments and processing of motor vehicle claims.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site motor vehicle Claims Assessment and Reporting
• Attend scheduled site visits to inspect and assess vehicle damage.
• Evaluate the scope of damage, validate the cause of loss, and determine necessary repair or replacement work.
• Take detailed notes, photographs as part of the field report.
• Produce accurate reports and make recommendations on claim settlements in line with policy cover.

Compliance & Documentation

• Submit comprehensive reports, photos, and supporting documentation in a timely manner via the claims system.

Collaboration

• Work closely with internal assessors, claims handlers, and technical teams.
• Escalate complex or high-value claims for peer review or senior input.
• Provide expert guidance or second opinions to the wider claims team where required

Minimum requirements

Qualification:

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years motor claims assessing experience.
• Preferably a qualified panel beater with specialised knowledge of accurately assessing motor vehicle damage.
