We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MRP Controller to manage and maintain material requirements planning activities to ensure the efficient availability of stock and materials in line with production and customer demands.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
Higher certificate / Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
Must have a minimum of 3 years working experience in the steel industry.
Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in planning / expediting.
Must understand the process flow.
Must have above average PC skills.
Must have SAP experience.
Must have good communication skills.
Must be fluent in English (Read, write and speak)
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
Must have SigmaNest experience.
Must have MasterCam experience
Must have basic drawing knowledge
Duties and Responsibilities
Production and housekeeping on SAP
Communication with Sales, Production, Warehouse and branches to improve customer service.
Manage and control production orders according to customer requirements.
Resolve, monitor and expedite outstanding orders.
Formulate lead times efficiently.
Facilitate optimal usage of material.
Determine delays and adjust schedules to meet deadlines accordingly.
