We’re on the lookout for an MRP Controller to control the availability, supply, warehousing, and administration of all raw material and MRO stock and ensures that the correct materials are delivered at the correct time and in the correct quantity.
As an MRP Controller you will be responsible for:
Running MRP on SAP on a daily basis in single or batch run and action accordingly to ensure availability of engineering spares
Recording and processing all planned orders, items returned and all abnormal demands on a daily basis
Analysing all printed planned orders and query planned orders for high value items on a daily basis.
Compiling Stock Optimisation Report for end user review and feedback, adjust MRP levels accordingly
Compiling a weekly report of stock movement for MRO and Machine Clothing items.
Maintaining the Rotable/Repairable stock as per the rotable process to ensure that availability
Recording all items being returned to stores with the possibility of cancelling outstanding orders or purchase requisitions on a daily basis.
Ensuring that stores stock is counted daily to achieve one count annually using the Cycle Count System and Procedures on SAP
Investigating all discrepancies with the Stores Supervisor and end-users, and apply corrective action if necessary on an on-going basis
Completing Root Cause Analysis report of any deviations as per ISO procedures and liaise with Inventory Controller and end-users on a monthly basis
Generating consignment stock usage reports for the vendors as and when required on SAP
Assisting with By-Product/ Sundry sales
What are we looking for?
National Diploma or Certificate in Procurement/ Materials Management/related field
2 years relevant experience in a stores or materials management environment
SAP MM experience
Experience in the technical and/or manufacturing environment is advantageous
The ability to work under pressure while following all procedures and standards
