A leading property organisation is seeking an experienced National Financial Manager to provide strategic financial leadership across a multi-regional property portfolio. Reporting to the Financial Director, this role will drive financial performance, portfolio optimisation, capital planning, and strategic decision-making while partnering closely with executive leadership and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead national budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management across multiple regions.
Analyse portfolio and asset performance, identifying financial risks, opportunities, and value enhancement initiatives.
Prepare financial feasibility studies, ROI analyses, and business cases for capital expenditure, refurbishments, acquisitions, and strategic projects.
Develop executive dashboards, management reports, and commercial insights to support informed decision-making.
Monitor portfolio profitability, operating costs, and financial performance while driving operational efficiencies.
Support long-term portfolio growth strategies and strategic asset management initiatives.
Ensure consistency in financial reporting, governance, and operational controls across all regions.
Collaborate with regional management and executive teams to achieve financial and strategic objectives.
Lead, mentor, and align finance teams while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Property Studies, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or CFA will be advantageous.
8–10 years' experience in property finance, commercial finance, asset management, corporate finance, or investment analysis.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial leadership role.
