    National Key Account Manager Automotive

    The National Key Account Manager's main objective is the retention and growth of Kuehne-Nagel's market share within the assigned industry in South Africa. This entails a solution-based selling role across larger and strategic key Accounts within the Automotive vertical. The role will be operating out of Johannesburg.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Establish a portfolio of global as well as local key accounts by liaising with local stakeholders (BM,NV,BU's) as well as counterparts in the regions and global Industry champions
    • Identify goals and objectives for the development of each key account (account plan) in the assigned vertical and align with Jnb NV. Pursue cross- and upselling strategies per customer
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
    • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
    • Conduct regular business reviews where applicable and align with operations on customer’s requirements.
    • Identify service issues, initiate corrective action and ensure issues are resolved timeously.
    • Attend meaningful industry specific conferences and events.

    Your Skills And Experiences

    • Matric Certificate (Grade 12) is preferred
    • You have at least 5 Years of experience in a global, regional, or national key account capacity, with proven a record of business development
    • You have at least 5 years of experience within the customer vertical
    • Supply chain management experience, including extensive understanding in 4PL (preferred)
    • Good command of the English Language - both written & spoken
    • Have proven industry knowledge of the assigned vertical
    • Have conducted sales leadership workshops, whiteboard sessions with customers, or process review sessions with global customers.
    • Moderate level of computer literacy.
